And that debris or dust as we usually call it will be made
up of dead skin, dust mites, dander, pollen, fungi spores, dust mite
faeces and even tobacco smoke
If you’re still using an old-fashioned
vacuum with a bag or cyclone filter you can forget about removing
the pollutants from the air in your home. Make the air healthy, fresh
and clean? It’s simply not going to happen. Why? Because you’re cleaning
with a bag of holes! The collection bag or filter (in the case of
a cyclone-type machine) is necessarily full of holes. It has to be
to let the airflow through and suck up the dirt and dust and debris
found in your carpet. And out through these holes come all the fine
particles of debris (what we call dust).

The
Rainbow is more than a simple vacuum cleaner. It also improves the

How does this Rainbow™ work then?
Simple. But smart. Instead of a paper (or cloth) bag (of holes) the
Rainbow™ copies Mother Nature (sort of) and the ‘bag’ is made of water!
The Rainbow is filled with 2 litres of ordinary tap water and then
the air and all the debris from your carpets is bubbled through the
water. Water is such an effective filter that all the – dross – in
the debris and in the air is captured and the air that exhausts out
of the back of the machine is so water-fresh you can actually smell
and taste the difference. Wow! It really works. Add a aromatic oil
or other fragrance to the water and the air comes out smelling of
newly-bloomed roses, or freshly squeezed lemon, or a field full of
fuchsias or wherever your imagination can take you! Try that with
an old-fashioned vacuum cleaner!
In fact you will surely have noticed
that if your conventional, old-fashioned vacuum has been switched
on for 5 or 10 minutes, it starts to smell. But not of nice stuff.
You recognise that dusty, musty, stagnant smell. What you smell is

you may leave in your vacuum (I can’t bring myself to call it a ‘cleaner’)
for weeks on end to coalesce and ferment. Every time you switch the
